Many blog commenters just simply drop off some spammy comments(sometimes with loads of links) which is somewhat annoying. Anyways, I also could suggest installing SEOquake add-on to firefox as it provides some useful indications like Google PR, alexa ranking, do-follow/no-follow links and so much more..!
