Guaranteed Traffic – Keyword Carpet Bombing!
Do you wish there was a way to get guaranteed traffic to your blog? Are you picking out winning keywords and still not able to get traffic to your site? Do you check all the right places to find competition on your keyword phrases, but still cannot get ranked for them?
Well trust me, you are not alone. This is one of the most frustrating problems for webmasters and Internet marketers alike. If you are putting in the work and simply not getting the results, trust me I know exactly how you feel and I have definitely been through this. However, I do have some helpful hints to get your past this “bump in the road” and back on track with your internet marketing efforts.
I was recently asked a question on a forum that I frequent “I have done my keyword research and have submitted my info to squidoo and ezinearticles, but I am not getting ranked, I feel like I am missing something?”
Well, the conversation on the forum was about different methods of keyword research that different people use. There are many different methods that people use and some are obviously more effective than others. The problem it turned out was not finding the right keyword to use, but how to market the site and get link exposure with the keyword term that this member was trying to focus on.
If you do not understand what keyword research is, join our mailing list here and you will get a link to some videos that will help out with this. For those of you who are already doing some keyword research and then trying to focus your link building efforts to get ranked for those keywords, I will give you the same reply I posted in the forum. If you do not know what keyword research is and do not fully understand link building and anchor text yet, please do not proceed with the steps below!
The methodology I will explain is very quick and dirty seo, but when it comes down to it I have used these exact steps to successfully launch many a profitable site and I know these will work for you too. All you have to do is apply the steps and keep mixing up your keyword phrase in relevant long tail keyword phrases and You Will Get Results!
Write one new article, get your keyword or a variation of it in the title, body, keyword tags and make a link with the same or variant of your keywords in the post, to the post. Do Not make the keyword spammed throughout, make it natural and make this one of the best posts you ever wrote, this is the gold nugget that you are going to trade for traffic!
Publish this, take your rss feed over to http://feedburner.com, burn it, then get over to http://pingoat.com
Now that you are at http://pingoat.com submit both your website feed and the feedburner feed, with a slight variation in the title, but still Keep Your Keywords In There Too.
Next it is time to do some social bookmarking, get over to:
http://digg.com
http://stumbleupon.com
http://reddit.com
http://mixx.com
and bookmark you new post, do this at different times of the day, not all at once.
Now, write you up a small 300-500 word article and post it on all article directories( http://ezinearticles.com http://goarticles.com http://articledashboard.com ), authority sites( http://squidoo.com http://hubpages.com http://facebook.com http://knol.google.com )and as many blogs that you can(heres the blog submitter I use, it’s free)then time to get your article on some authority blogs, say hello to http://blogger.com http://blog.com http://fortuneboard.com and http://posterous.com
Everywhere you submit you article you need to make sure that you can get at least one link with a variation of your keyword in the article or do not waste your time there.
You may also want to spend some time on popular social sites telling people about the new post, Google loves to see some traffic to a page that it is going to rank. I suggest you use http://ping.fm to multiply your efforts here.
I know this sounds like you are going to be carpet bombing the web with info and Yes that is the idea. If you want to be noticed by Google, give them something to look at!
This can be done all in one day, but I suggest you spread it out over a few days or even a weeks time, because after all you don’t want to scare Google with to many new links all at once. Now once you have completed these simple steps, just wash, rinse and repeat; you will be guaranteed results.
That is if you have chosen a worthy keyword!
Well I can tell you if you do the things I spoke of above, you will get traffic! There is no question about it, you will be able to see some immediate traffic from direct click through visitors. However, more importantly, if you use good anchor text and keep mixing up the long tail terms, you will be able to sustain some rather healthy traffic from the search engines as well.
You can look at any of the big name products, video series or guru reports; they all will focus in on one of the sections of info above and build a whole product around it, but you know what, you don’t need to spend $300 dollars to take some logical steps toward your success online. When it comes down to it, there are only 2 things that online marketing comes down to, Distribution and Target Market. Everything else is simply smoke and mirrors.
Now, I will say that much like exercising, some people really do need to make a huge investment in a product to remind them that they need to exercise, however I hope you can find you motivation elsewhere

What Makes Social Bookmarking So Powerful?
There are a couple reasons that using social bookmarking as an method of online marketing works. The first is the fact that your link will be put in front of hundreds of thousands of people on each site you submit it to. Just the other day I got 800 unique visits from a single submission to stumbleupon.com I don’t claim to get these results every time I submit a link, but I can guarantee that you will never get free results like this without using them.
Another big reason that internet marketers and webmasters cannot live without using these services is that the top search engines look to these social bookmarking sites as Authority Sites and they check them for what’s new and what’s popular. In most cases this translates into a boost in your web site’s ranking on the search engines.
So yes, you NEED to be using these sites if you are serious about online business, internet marketing and getting mad crazy traffic to your sites.
How Do I Add My Site To Social Bookmarking Sites?
This really varies from site to site. Most all of the popular social bookmarking sites will require you to create an account to post your website bookmarks, but none of these sites charge for membership so don’t worry, this is free. Once you have created an account and logged in, most sites have a similar setup to add a link, you choose a title, description and category for your web link. In some cases you can also choose a set of keywords and an image to associate with your bookmark as well.
Most of the more popular social bookmarking sites will allow you to get a plugin for either Firefox for Internet Explorer to make it quicker and easier to add your bookmarks to their site. These can be nice, but at the same time if you want to get your bookmark spread to many sites, it is not an effective way to do this by any means. If you add one or 2 of these bookmarking toolbars to your browser, that is more than most people want or would really use in the first place. Don’t worry, there is a better way and we are getting ready to get to that.
Effective Tools For Social Bookmarking
There are a couple of tools out there that can make your social bookmarking efforts more effective and much easier to keep up with. Some are free to use and some of the best ones are not, we will discuss both and let make an educated decision as to which one is right for you and your online business. Most people can see the benefit right away from the free tools and personally I decided to start using the payed tools pretty quick because I saw so much value and control that was not offered by the free ones.
Free Social Bookmarking Tools:
- Social Marker – This website offers a cool and free tool to allow you to send your bookmarks out to many sites all at once. This site can make a days worth of worth of work achievable in a few minutes!
- OnlyWire – This is another secret guru type tool most folks don’t tell you about until you have already bought a paid product from them. Now this is by far the best free one, but it has a huge downfall. The fact that they force you to put a link back to there site on the site you wan to bookmark really takes away from their appeal, to me at least.
- Social Marking – another site that attempts to make social bookmarking easier, I am not convinced. It has a very archaic setup and really does not seem to automate much, besides there sales funnel. Maybe a good resource for some but after using there free system, I think there plan is to get you to buy there service, so probably not the best out there, but it is free?

- Bookmarking Demon – No, this is not a free tool, but it really is worth its weight in gold. Am I an affiliate, Yes! Yes, I Know You Have Heard It Before But…
It really is true, content rules the internet and it rules search engines, thus it must rule web site traffic. I know that sounds like a silly logic puzzle, but when it comes down to it, no matter what you are doing on the internet to drive traffic to your page, if your content is crap, it makes no difference anyhow.
Start with your website, start with what the experts call on page seo. This does not mean cramming the same keyword phrase into an article a thousand times, (if you think this is seo, stick your hand out so I can slap it). Basic Affiliate Marketing Strategy
Affiliate marketing is huge! To be successful with affiliate marketing you will need a strategy to successfully make money and create a stream of profit. We are going to discuss the basics of affiliate marketing here, of course there is more to know, but these tips and strategies will get any internet marketer off to a good start.
1. What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Well Affiliate Marketing is nothing more than a referral system that pays.
Affiliate marketing used to only be available for the biggest companies out there, but affiliate networks have opened up this opportunity to even the little guys on the web.
It works like this. You go register to be an affiliate for a company, say Amazon.com and they will provide you with “Affiliate Links” to products on their site. These links have a code in them to track any sales and your account will be credited with a percentage of each sale that you refer.
Many companies will pay up to 50% of each sale, so you can see how this can be lucrative if you refer a lot of people to their products or services.
2. Find Affiliates Within Your Niche
It is very crucial that you find an affiliate program that is in the same market or niche that your website, blog or social sites are very interested in. You can search for affiliates in your niche and then locate the top paying affiliates to use. This will assure that you get the best response to your offers and that when somebody does buy, you get a good profit from each sale.
There is no use promoting a program that will only pay you one dollar per sale, unless you are selling hundreds a day. I have always thought that cheaper items sell more often, but really if you are going to make money, lets shoot for some real money, not a dollar here and there.

3. Never Spam, Ever!
This is common sense to some, but to many people spamming is what they call promotion. You cannot just throw up your link every place that will let you and hope for sales. That is not how affiliate marketing works. In most cases you will get banned from sites, forums and other places you do this, so don’t waste your time doing it.
4. Promote Your Affiliate Program!
I think the #1 way to start promoting an affiliate program is to blog about it and similar interests. Go to http://blogger.com and start a free blog today! If you want a professional blog for cheap, we suggest AlienServ they provide cheap hosting and easy blog setup.
Blogging is a great way to get some true content out there and don’t be afraid to link to your affiliate program here, it is your site after all.
Another great way to start promoting your item, is to start writing articles on the topic and placing your link in the author bio, this takes time, but has proved to be very beneficial in my online efforts.
You can use many of the popular social bookmarking sites, like http://digg.com and http://stumbleupon.com to get more attention to your blogs. I also suggest using RSS syndication to boost your blog traffic instantly.
Don’t forget your social networks. Join some social networks and then get involved in groups that are about your topic or niche get to know people and let them know about your products and offers.
5. Earn!
Now that you have started your promotion, you should start getting some money coming in soon, if not, just turn up your marketing efforts and the results will come! Affiliate marketing takes time and some effort, however it can payoff big time, if you put the work in.
