Have you been noticing those funny looking square bar codes on everything from magazines to billboards recently? There is no reason that you can’t get your own and its a lot easier than you might think. These new bar codes in the square form are called Data Matix or QR codes. These have actually been popularized by the Android and other smart phones. With mobile users abilities to scan these codes on the fly and jump to the information they need, you will be seeing these more and more. Today these codes are showing up everywhere, if you live a big city, the chances are that you see them on streets and all over the place.
If you want to start spreading the word about your web site, brand or company then you can start right now. All you need to do to get your very own QR code is create a short link using Googles own url shortening service Goo.gl which is very similar to tinyurl.com but offers some very cool additions to this standard url shortening service.
The coolest thing of course is that you can put in your own url and instanly get the QR code for your web site address, but it also offers some free analytics information that can be very helpful too.

There is a huge amount of free information already on the Webmaster Business Plan web site. As new concepts, ideas and strategy become more important to myself and other webmasters, I have recently started adding some of what I share to some new location. The W.B.P. site will remain active, these will just be extra sources for information for anybody who is interested in learning.
The first site I would like to tell everybody about is a blog on wordpress.com called Professional Online Marketing. This web site is dedicated to more business conceptualization and a touch of online business ethics. The site is new, but there is already some solid content here for anybody starting a new online business. Another wordpress site that I let die, but I am bringing back is Free Website Tools 4 U so make sure to give it a look too.
The Free Webmaster Tips site is a blogger blog that I just started adding some more “how to” style webmaster information. This site will offer more behind the scenes information and technical tutorials in the near future.
Another site that I have just launched is a traffic generating program that I call the Link Building Ninja training. This site is totally free and offers nothing but the nuts and bolts that it takes to build a huge amount of website traffic and of course the tools, resources and methodology that I personally use. I have a bunch of free stuff over there for anybody who gets registered including a free domain name, so check it out.
