It seems that even though it took the guys at Twitter years to figure out how to monetize their traffic, they may still have a few tricks up their sleeves. They have been playing with an income strategy, mainly their promoted tweets platform, but now they are ready to take their marketing to the next level and offer completely self serving advertising to those businesses who are interested in an extra social push from the 140 character giant known as Twitter. The first site I would like to tell everybody about is a blog on wordpress.com called Professional Online Marketing. This web site is dedicated to more business conceptualization and a touch of online business ethics. The site is new, but there is already some solid content here for anybody starting a new online business. Another wordpress site that I let die, but I am bringing back is Free Website Tools 4 U so make sure to give it a look too.

The Free Webmaster Tips site is a blogger blog that I just started adding some more “how to” style webmaster information. This site will offer more behind the scenes information and technical tutorials in the near future.

Another site that I have just launched is a traffic generating program that I call the Link Building Ninja training. This site is totally free and offers nothing but the nuts and bolts that it takes to build a huge amount of website traffic and of course the tools, resources and methodology that I personally use. The feature I am talking about is of course the ability to update your ping.fm account and then in turn all of your social sites from your Skype or Gtalk clients.  All you have to do to set this up is login to ping.fm and look at the bottom right.  you will see links to these services.  They give you an email address/account name to add as a contact.  Then you will send one message to make your account verified to use the ping. fm api using your credentials and you are done.

Now any time you send a message to this new contact in your IM app of choice, all of the social networks that you have setup with ping.fm will be instantly updated for you!  This is a great way to get the word out about a new blog post, specials you are running or anything for that matter.

Well if you are always chatting on gtalk and skype already, now you can blast social networks very easily too.  Now that is what I call being productive.

If you are not already using the Google Webmaster Tools I highly suggest you start now.  The Google Webmaster Tools service has now released a new feature to allow webmasters like you and me to get a glimpse into the behind the scenes view of the Google search world.

Now you can actually enter any web page or domain name and have the Google Bot manually download and Display what it sees!  This is amazing if you are into search engine optimization, because now you there will be no question of what is getting indexed on your page.  You can be assured of what scripts are or are not search engine friendly because you can actually SEE what is being pulled from each page on your web site.

Of course this will be more important to people running many scripts or have many layers on their sites, if you are using a simple html page, you can pretty much see how google will see your site by loading it in a normal web browser.   However, I thought that this would come in handy for anybody that wants to know what google is really taking away from your website and trying to boost their own web site traffic and search engine standings.

Now for Pod Casts the same rule applies, you can use RSS feeds to syndicate your pod cast and this can be an effective marketing method to allow you to get your website seen all over the web for free. There are a couple of ways you can boost your podcast exposure for free using the rss feed that is already in place. You can send your podcast rss feed to giant online podcast directories that only accept podcast rss feeds, these are places that you cannot display a regular rss feed, so in our books this is extra exposure that you can only receive if you site offers a podcast, so why not take full advantage of it?
